About the Backend Engineer role
We are looking for an experienced Backend engineer to join as a member of the core engineering team. As a backend engineer, you will have an extensive impact over the product, the architecture, and the technology.
We work on a privacy-first next-gen blockchain, built in Rust with a C++ component. Technologies include zero-knowledge proofs, elliptic curve cryptography, advanced blockchain state management and other cutting edge techniques.
The perfect match
- Graduated from a top university with a degree in computer science or software engineering, you have at least 3 years of experience developing backend/blockchain components.
- Experience with backend systems in production - a must.
- Can deploy, maintain and operate a backend on top of AWS/GCP/Azure - a must.
- Familiarity with blockchain concepts such as UTXO, consensus, and public key cryptography.
- Clean code enthusiast, you know how to design and maintain modular, testable code, with a particular proficiency in Rust, Go, C++ or any other system programming language.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Rust, particularly writing high-performance high-security code.
- Frontend / JS experience.
- Knowledge in cryptographic protocol design.
- Versed in testing methodologies, you have a demonstrated understanding of concepts like unit-testing, TDD, BDD, and mocking
