At Assured Allies we are reinventing successful aging by working with many of the largest insurance carriers and their policyholders to introduce game changing wellness and financial products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team that own for one of our products ( Age Assured) platform data architecture.
- Design and build next generation data warehouse supporting hundred of thousands of lives of our program members
- Mentor and guide software engineers and data engineers in the team.
- Work closely with the R&D teams in designing large scale distributed systems in the cloud.
- Work closely with data scientists and researchers to support their processes.
- Work with our security and compliance expert to keep all personal data safe and sound.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to understand business requirements and develop data solutions to meet those needs.
- Write high-quality code and provide hands-on development as necessary
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Python.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, managing teams of data platform engineers.
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale data platform infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related field.
- Experience building complex data platforms and distributed systems in the cloud, incorporating AWS services such as Glue, Athena, Kinesis, Redshift, S3, etc.
- Experience in current software development practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Hebrew and English)
