Intel NEX Cloud Networking (NCNG) team delivers best-in-class Ethernet products and is at the heart of Intel's transformation from a PC company to a company that powers the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices. NCNG's compelling Ethernet products move the world's data and are the foundations of cloud service and telecommunications data centers. You will be exposed to High-Speed I/O protocols such as PCIe, DDR5, and PAM4 Ethernet, which are a part of our Ethernet Infrastructure Processing Unit (Intel® IPU) and Foundation NIC (FNIC) Ethernet product lines. We propose a dynamic and flexible workplace position, working directly with highly capable design, system, and pre/post-silicon teams within the organization.

We are seeking an experienced multidisciplinary software engineer with a proven record of leading top-to-bottom software solutions and hands-on experience from the definition phase through architecture and implementation.

You will be responsible for delivering software solutions and performing as an SW knowledge center for our Hardware development teams and external customers while working on various pre/post-silicon emerging HWSWSimulation tools technologies. This includes utilizing cloud services, improving and designing HW control APIs, large database development and management, Big-Data analytics, data visual representation, UI design, and low-level HW drivers.

Qualifications

• BSc. or MSc. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development
• Experience in modern application deployment
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented programming
• Experience in utilizing cloud services
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Clear verbal and written communication with experience building consensus within a large organization
• Ability to prototype ideas and demonstrate direction and values
• A "Can-Do" mentality and mindset

Advantage

• Experience with Data virtualization solutions (Elastic, Pandas ...)
• Excellent people and project management skills
• Knowledge of network stacks (Ethernet/IP) is a noticeable benefit
• Good understanding of the Telemetry and Automation technologies
• Knowledge of cloud-native development and deployment methodologies (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS)

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
