we are looking for a Data Integration Engineer.

As a Data Integration Engineer., you will work with the team to create state-of-the-art data and analytics driven solutions, working across Solaredge platforms leveraging both On-prem, Platform, big data tools and technologies. You will be part of a data engineering team in charge both on AI and ML developing Interfaces/ data pipelines, typically involving large, complex data sets.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for building data pipeline solutions with standard end-to-end design
  • Understanding the data flow and the requirements around its necessity/velocity and criticality, and being able to implement data pipelines and data modeling.
  • Responsible for managing data stream access through providers such as AWS storage layers and transformations in AWS Data warehouse and further transporting in respective databases, consumers, data marts etc.
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of web frameworks such as Flask or Django, as well as data integration frameworks such as dbt.
  • Experience with high-volume production environments including live stream and batch streams, and real-time vs batch analytics.
  • Identify downstream implications of data loads/migration (e.g., data quality, regulatory, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related degree
  • A minimum of 4+ years of similar experience working on Database(s), Data warehouse, ETL, and AWS platforms is required
  • Experience building data lake solutions using one or more of the following: AWS, EMR, S3, Hive & Spark
  • Develops, tests, and maintains code using software development methodology and appropriate technologies for the system being used.
  • Build, maintain, and scale data pipelines
  • Establish data architecture processes and practices that can be scheduled, automated, replicated, and serve as standards for other teams to leverage
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python
  • Experienced in Deployment process on-Premise and using, Dockers, Jenkins
  • Experience with workflow scheduling tools such as Airflow
  • Delivers results when working on shorter-term (weeks-months), outcome-focused service engagements
  • Experience troubleshooting software applications that involve APIs, databases, and frontend
  • Comfortable working with OS such as Linux and shell scripting
  • Experienced in working in AWS-related computing, storage, and processing (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Dynamo DB, Athena, Sagemaker)
  • Thoughtful problem-solving: For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates. You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.
