We are seeking a Data Scientist with experience in time sequence modeling and forecast models. The ideal candidate will be able to build from scratch robust data pipelines for processing and analyzing large-scale time series data, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the process. Develop and implement statistical models to forecast financial risk metrics, such as revenue trends, sales volumes, and risk indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop data models for cash flow planning by utilizing statistical and machine learning techniques to accurately forecast e-commerce brands' cash flow.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover meaningful insights and patterns in large-scale datasets related to e-commerce growth.
• Build predictive models that accurately forecast revenue growth for e-commerce sellers, considering historical data, market trends, and customer segmentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to translate business requirements into data science solutions that drive data-driven decision-making and automate processes.
• Continuously improve models and methodologies by staying updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and e-commerce trends.
• Collaborate on data infrastructure and quality initiatives to ensure the availability, quality, and reliability of data for analysis and decision-making.
  
  

Requirements:

• A degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of proven experience working as a Data Scientist, with a focus on time sequence modeling and prediction models in the fintech industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with relevant libraries for building and deploying machine learning models from scratch
• Solid understanding of financial concepts, markets, and instruments.
• Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business & product requirements into data science models
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A self-driven and proactive attitude with a passion for leveraging data science to drive innovation and improve financial services.
