The role

You'll design and build the endpoint agent that runs on our customers' most critical machines, across a wide range of OS versions, from long-running industrial systems to the latest releases.

The agent is part of an end-to-end solution spanning firmware, endpoint software and on premises/cloud servers. We build it with a modern toolset: up-to-date languages and frameworks, CI/CD, and AI coding agents as a core part of our daily development process.

What you'll do

• Design and develop the agent's core components
• Improve performance, stability and footprint across all supported OS versions
• Lead refactoring of the existing codebase
• Own your domain technically and drive its design decisions
• Perform peer code reviews and help maintain high engineering standards

What you bring

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of production grade C# development
• 2+ years of production grade C++ development
• Hands-on experience working with AI coding agents as part of your daily workflow, with the engineering judgment to guide them, review their output and own the result
• Experience in production, real-world systems with:
• Windows APIs
• Multithreading, performance optimization and scalability
• Debugging tools (WinDbg, Sysinternals) and crash dump analysis
• Delivering both on-prem and SaaS software
• Versatility: comfortable moving between layers and technologies, and quick to learn
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have

• Endpoint agent development
• Firmware or embedded development experience
• Background in storage, backup or recovery
• Knowledge of encryption and authentication protocols
