We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Team Lead to lead a major modernization initiative, rebuilding Israel Post’s financial platform using modern technologies, cloud architecture, and AI-driven development processes.

This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with the Head of Development, combining technical leadership, team management, and end-to-end ownership of development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the development team, overseeing task allocation, code reviews, technical execution, and delivery.
• Drive the adoption of AI-powered development workflows across the entire SDLC, from design and coding to testing and DevOps.
• Lead technical architecture, planning, and hands-on development.
• Own complex initiatives, production issues, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Business, and engineering teams.
• Ensure high-quality delivery and adherence to timelines in an Agile environment.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands-on Full Stack development experience with C#/.NET and React, with a strong Backend orientation.
• 3+ years of experience leading software development teams.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, including implementation within development teams.
• Experience in the financial domain (payments, banking, or credit cards).
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud environments, and CI/CD.
• Strong ownership, initiative, and ability to drive complex processes independently.
