System Engineer | Ashdod Area

Mertens Malam Team is hiring a System Engineer for a public medical center in the Ashdod area.

Key Responsibilities:

Join the hospital's existing System team, sharing technical and operational responsibilities

Operate, maintain, upgrade, and develop enterprise IT infrastructure supporting the hospital's medical and operational activities

Manage critical IT systems, including Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Storage, Backup, Cloud, and additional infrastructure solutions

Ensure the availability, stability, performance, security, and operational continuity of hospital IT systems

Troubleshoot complex Tier 2/3 incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis, document lessons learned, and implement corrective and preventive actions

Perform controlled system changes, monitor performance and availability, and develop automation scripts

Lead infrastructure projects and collaborate with networking, cybersecurity, application teams, external vendors, and technology providers

Work independently and collaboratively in a mission-critical 24/7 environment requiring high availability, professional accountability, and continuous operations

Requirements:

At least 3–5 years of experience in an Enterprise organization with hundreds of servers and thousands of users

Hands-on experience with Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and Windows Server 2019/2022 or later

Hands-on experience managing enterprise VMware environments

Hands-on experience managing, maintaining, and supporting Citrix environments

Experience developing scripts and automation using PowerShell

Experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments

High level of technical English
