Embedded Linux Engineer

The ideal candidate is a curious, hands-on engineer who loves getting close to the hardware and seeing their code run on real systems. You will join the R&D team behind one of our leading products, designing and developing advanced Linux-based networking solutions that carry real traffic over real networks. You'll work across the full stack of embedded networking, from kernel space and hardware interfaces up to L2/L3 protocols. You'll own meaningful features end to end, in a team where technical depth, independence and fresh ideas are genuinely valued.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and optimize real-time embedded software in C/C++ running on Embedded Linux
  • Develop features across L2/L3 networking protocols and TDM-based systems
  • Work close to the hardware, bringing up interfaces and integrating low-level hardware protocols
  • Dive into complex system-level problems, then debug, troubleshoot and solve them from the kernel to the application layer
  • Take part in architecture and design decisions for new capabilities in a leading networking product
  • Collaborate with hardware, QA and system engineering teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and help raise the team's engineering standards

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in C/C++
  • Strong experience working in Linux environments
  • Experience with embedded Linux systems
  • Hands-on experience with low-level hardware protocols
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
  • Solid understanding of software design, debugging and troubleshooting
  • Fast learner with strong technical curiosity and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven and motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
