We are looking for a Senior AI Researcher to join the Misgav Factory at ELTA Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), focusing on research and development of algorithms for radar systems.

The position includes:

• Developing algorithms and analyzing mathematical problems.
• Conducting research and developing new methodologies and technologies.
• Preparing algorithm design and research documentation.
• Analyzing complex physical problems.
• Collaborating with Systems Engineers, Software Developers, and academic research partners.

What we're looking for:

• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory.
• Ph.D. – Advantage.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in algorithm development or algorithmic research in signal processing or machine learning – Mandatory.
• Background in related fields through previous work experience or academic studies, or experience with industry-standard AI development frameworks.
• Ability to conduct independent research and work autonomously, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience mentoring junior algorithm developers – Advantage.
