Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Full Stack Engineer role based in the Jerusalem District, Israel. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications that power Safeguard’s automated safety and decision-support platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include building robust back-end services and APIs, implementing responsive and accessible front-end user interfaces, and integrating data from multiple sources to support real-time analytics and predictions. The role involves collaborating closely with product, data, and safety teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews and architecture discussions. The Full Stack Engineer will also contribute to performance optimization, security best practices, and continuous improvement of the platform’s reliability and user experience.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of software development experience, across frontend and backend.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into daily development workflows.
• Strong experience in *Java development*, with familiarity in JavaScript and Flutter, and the ability and willingness to learn additional programming languages and technologies.
• Extensive hands-on experience with *AWS* and in-depth knowledge of its services and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD processes.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
