About the Company

Antidote Health is a tech- driven health insurance company on a mission to make healthcare easy, accessible, and more affordable. We’re rethinking how healthcare works—using technology to remove the friction, complexity, and delays that define the traditional system. Instead of navigating paperwork, long waits, and disconnected experiences, we’re building a simpler, more connected way for people to get care.

Our platform combines health coverage, virtual care, and a modern member experience into one seamless system designed to help people actually use their benefits.

We offer Affordable Care Act (ACA) health plans in Arizona and Ohio, and we’re growing quickly. We’re building a company focused on solving real problems—with real impact on people’s lives.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Data Analyst to join our Data department and help turn complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights that improve business performance, member experience, operational efficiency, and healthcare outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with curiosity about how healthcare works. You will work closely with business, medical, operations, finance, product, and technology teams, using data from areas such as Healthplan Membership, Medical Claims, Providers, medical utilization, and customer interactions.

A successful Healthcare Data Analyst does more than produce reports. You understand the business question behind the request, determine which data can answer it, challenge questionable assumptions, validate the results, and turn the analysis into a clear recommendation or decision.

You will help us build a culture where data is trusted, understood, and used to drive action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze healthcare and business data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and operational issues.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs used by business and executive stakeholders.
  • Work with claims, enrollment, member, provider, utilization, and financial data.
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches and measurable metrics.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and help them make data-driven decisions.
  • Investigate changes and anomalies in key metrics and explain the underlying drivers.
  • Define and document business metrics to ensure consistent interpretation across the organization.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses supporting strategic and operational decisions.
  • Validate data quality and identify inconsistencies, missing data, or potential data pipeline issues.
  • Work with data engineering and analytics teams to improve data models and reporting infrastructure.
  • Support regulatory, operational, and management reporting when needed.
  • Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, healthcare intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to break ambiguous business questions into structured analyses.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly and explain the story behind the numbers.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple business functions.
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Neurobiology, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Public Health, or a related discipline.

Healthcare Experience

Healthcare experience is strongly preferred. Relevant experience may include working with: health insurance or payer data, medical claims and utilization, healthcare operations, clinical or population-health data. Experience with concepts such as ICD, CPT/HCPCS, NPI, taxonomy, claims adjudication, prior authorization, risk adjustment, or healthcare quality measures is an advantage.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Python or another analytical programming language.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
  • Experience building or working with semantic layers and standardized metric definitions.
  • Familiarity with US healthcare regulations and payer operations.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing or highly cross-functional organization.
