Development Team Leader | Mertens - MalamTeam | Sharon Area

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Development Team Leader to join a leading organization in the Sharon area and lead the development of advanced Embedded Software systems.

Responsibilities:

Lead and professionally manage an Embedded Software development team

Own the End-to-End development of an advanced video communication system based on Linux and NVIDIA Jetson

Lead software architecture, technology roadmap planning, and engineering decision-making

Develop and implement AI and Edge AI solutions in operational systems

Lead the development of user interfaces and command-and-control systems

Collaborate with hardware teams, Pre-Sales, customers, and additional development teams

Take responsibility for code quality, Code Reviews, development processes, and working methodologies

Solve complex challenges in Networking, Video Streaming, and Performance Optimization

Requirements:

At least five years of experience managing development teams or working as a Development Team Leader or R&D Manager

Significant software development experience with Python, C++, and C

Experience with Linux environments and Embedded systems

Experience leading development teams from requirements definition through customer delivery

Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, JetPack, DeepStream, and TensorRT platforms

Deep understanding of Networking, including TCP/IP, UDP, Routing, Bonding, and Load Balancing

Experience developing GUI solutions in Linux environments using Qt, Web UI, or similar technologies

Strong architectural capabilities and experience designing complex systems
