We are looking for a strong C++ / Python Software Developer to develop innovative software solutions in C++, Python, and C#.
In this role, you will own and develop an SDK that sits at the heart of our animal-monitoring products. This is a high-impact, cross-platform role, working closely with algorithms and turning computer-vision and inference capabilities into a reliable, well-documented developer platform.
We are looking for an engineer who cares about architecture, clean interfaces, performance, and long-term maintainability, with the ability to think fast, be innovative, work well as part of a team, and continuously learn.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain the SDK's C++ core and its Python bindings, with a focus on performance, stability, monitoring, and a clean public API.
• Package and distribute the SDK with semantic versioning and reproducible builds across platforms.
• Collaborate with algorithm, product, and application teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and implement them.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests and build tooling that keeps the SDK reliable as it grows.
• Conduct code reviews, identify and fix bugs, and continuously improve performance and code quality.
• Write clear technical documentation and examples so that other developers can adopt the SDK quickly.
• Work in an Agile environment, research independently, think outside the box, and drive problems through to solutions.
Requirements
• B.Sc. (or M.Sc.) in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 6 years of professional software development experience, with deep, expert-level C++ knowledge, including modern C++, memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization.
• Medium to strong Python skills, with the ability to design and maintain clean Python APIs.
• Experience building and packaging cross-platform libraries and exposing native code to higher-level languages (e.g., pybind11 or similar binding technologies).
• Strong knowledge of core OOP and general programming concepts, including object lifecycle, memory model, concurrency, etc.
• Solid understanding of build systems, dependency management, and library versioning.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
• Working-level English.
Advantages:
• Background in Computer Vision, Image Processing, or Machine Learning Inference (e.g., OpenVINO, ONNX, OpenCV).
• Experience developing binding libraries and distributing packages through an artifact repository (e.g., Artifactory).
• C# knowledge and experience integrating native libraries with .NET.
• Experience targeting mobile or embedded platforms (e.g., Android).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
