The Defense Systems Plant within the Missiles & Space Division is seeking an Operations Research Team Lead.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a System Performance Analysis team consisting of Systems Engineers and Algorithm Engineers.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of end-to-end Air Defense System processes and operational behavior.
- Analyze and investigate system test and trial results.
- Conduct simulations and testing to evaluate and improve overall system performance.
- Develop system-level simulators and additional analysis tools for evaluating system behavior and performance, using MATLAB and Python.
- Lead algorithm development from requirements definition through design, implementation, and integration into operational systems.
What We’re Looking For
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics – required.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Systems Engineering – required.
- At least 7 years of experience managing Systems Engineers and/or development teams – required.
- Strong command of English, including reading, writing, and speaking – required.
