What you will do:

• Own Venice's cloud infrastructure end to end.
• Run our multi-region GCP environment - scale, availability, reliability, cost, and observability.
• Own the pipelines that ship our microservices, and work closely with developers on CI/CD and their day-to-day development experience.
• Own the infrastructure side of our security posture - identity and secrets management, pentest remediation, and compliance.
• Small team, wide scope. You will regularly land in domains you have not touched before and be expected to figure them out.
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps / Infrastructure / SRE experience, owning a production environment with real customers - a must.
• Deep production experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and Terraform, with a solid understanding of GCP (Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL).
• Hands-on with GitOps-based CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and a solid understanding of the development and deployment cycle.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring - metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerting that catches real problems without generating noise (Grafana, groundcover).
• Solid scripting and programming ability (Bash, Go, Javascript).
• Fluent use of AI coding and agentic tools in daily work, a can-do attitude, and the confidence to dive into an unfamiliar domain independently.
• Experience with cloud security and compliance work - least privilege, WAF, secrets management, pentest, audits.
