Mertens Malam Team is hiring a DevOps Team Lead for a financial organization in Central Israel

The role combines professional and personal team leadership with hands-on technical work in a critical Production environment with high availability, information security, and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

Lead the DevOps team professionally and personally

Plan and prioritize tasks and lead Delivery processes

Work hands-on in a critical Production environment

Develop and implement cloud infrastructure, automation, and Infrastructure as Code

Work with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Python, ELK, and CI/CD tools

Collaborate with development teams, information security teams, and organizational stakeholders

Combine approximately 30% team management with 70% hands-on technical work

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience in Development, QA, or IT

At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, including team leadership or mentoring experience

Significant experience managing and supporting critical Production systems and leading complex technological solutions

Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools

In-depth knowledge of Networking and enterprise information security

Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Groovy
