Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring an Automation Testing Team Lead for a financial organization in Rishon LeZion, combining team leadership, automation, AI innovation, and end-to-end ownership of testing projects

Responsibilities

Manage the automation team

Build and validate work plans

Lead automated UI testing across lower and production environments

Work in Microservices environments and distributed architectures

Take ownership of load and performance testing across lower and production environments

Lead projects from the testing perspective

Lead the AI domain within automation and implement innovative solutions to improve testing processes

Build and develop AI capabilities for automated testing from scratch

Drive technological innovation and continuous improvement of automation processes within the department

Requirements

3–4 years of experience

Hands-on experience implementing AI solutions in automation processes is mandatory

3 years of development experience is mandatory, with Java preferred

Experience with UI automation testing is mandatory, with Playwright considered an advantage

Experience with mobile automation testing using Appium is mandatory

Experience with REST API testing is mandatory

Experience with CI/CD processes is mandatory, with Azure DevOps considered an advantage

Experience with load testing using JMeter is mandatory

Experience leading projects from the automation and testing perspective is mandatory

Experience working with Git and modern development methodologies

Experience building and leading AI solutions from scratch within an organization is a significant advantage

Experience working with senior management is an advantage

Ability to lead employees in a matrix environment is an advantage
