Head of Data | Jerusalem

Mertens, part of MalamTeam, is hiring a Head of Data for an organization in Jerusalem

This is a key leadership role responsible for planning and leading the organization's information and data architecture as part of the Architecture Team, while collaborating with projects and stakeholders across the organization

Responsibilities

Plan and lead the organization's information and data architecture

Design and establish data infrastructure and information solutions

Implement the Ministry of Health's Data and Artificial Intelligence strategy

Support and guide projects across the organization

Plan and implement information architectures aligned with business needs

Drive data-based solutions and initiatives using AI and GenAI

Select solutions for high-quality organizational data collection and management

Promote effective data monitoring, control, and quality assurance solutions

Requirements

At least 8 years of professional experience in Data

At least 2 years of experience managing large technology teams

Hands-on experience establishing and managing solutions for organizational data collection and management

Proven experience defining and implementing information policies and data architecture

Experience selecting solutions for high-quality data collection and organizational information management

Experience in data quality assurance, including monitoring and control solutions

Experience adapting Data solutions to diverse business requirements

Familiarity with AI, Data, and BI technologies

Familiarity with data analysis and information accessibility solutions

Strong ability to integrate, adapt, and lead in a challenging work environment

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve disagreements between different stakeholders
