Infrastructure and Application DBA | Jerusalem

Mertens, part of MalamTeam, is hiring an experienced Infrastructure and Application DBA for a government organization in Jerusalem

The role requires strong infrastructure expertise alongside application-level capabilities in MS SQL Server, with responsibility for managing database operations across the organization

Responsibilities

Manage database operations across the organization

Set up, maintain, operate, and support organizational databases

Provide database support to development teams

Manage and maintain MS SQL Server environments

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in a multi-server environment

Full proficiency in Transact-SQL

Experience writing complex queries, functions, and triggers

Experience working in Production environments, including Failover Cluster management

Experience with Performance Tuning and Tracing, including a deep understanding of indexes and statistics

Experience in SQL Server design, implementation, maintenance, and backups
