We are looking for a Transmitter Development Engineer to join the Engineering & Systems Division at ELTA Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).


The position includes:

• Developing hardware solutions for advanced microwave and RF systems, including high-power amplifiers, power electronics, and electromagnetic systems

• Designing and developing high-power RF transmitter modules and related hardware

• Working with high-voltage systems and control systems

• Performing product characterization, analysis, and verification throughout the development lifecycle

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams on innovative and technologically advanced projects


What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering – Mandatory

• M.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Physics – Advantage

• At least 3 years of proven experience in hardware/module development – Mandatory

• Experience in product characterization and writing technical specifications – Mandatory

• Experience with high-power systems – Mandatory

• Experience with advanced simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, SPICE, or MATLAB – Advantage

• Knowledge of vacuum tube amplifiers – Advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
