DevOps Team Lead | Central Israel

Mertens MalamTeam is hiring a DevOps Team Lead for a financial organization in Central Israel

The role combines team leadership with Hands-on work in a critical Production environment, focusing on Cloud infrastructure, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and end-to-end Delivery

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the DevOps team and manage priorities and Delivery processes

Develop and maintain Cloud infrastructure and automation solutions

Work with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Python, ELK, and CI/CD tools

Collaborate with Development, Information Security, and business stakeholders

Approximately 30% team management and 70% Hands-on technical work

Requirements

10+ years of experience across Development, QA, or IT

5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, including team leadership or mentoring

Strong experience managing critical Production systems and complex technology solutions

Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools

Deep knowledge of Networking and enterprise Information Security

Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or Groovy
