Senior Cloud Architect | Central Israel

Mertens - MalamTeam is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to join a leading company in Central Israel. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design and implementation of secure cloud solutions while driving cloud transformation, modernization, and AI platform initiatives across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and lead secure cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments

Lead cloud migration projects and infrastructure and application modernization initiatives

Design secure cloud architectures aligned with business and security requirements

Develop and manage cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Containers, Serverless technologies, and Microservices

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps best practices

Build and support AI platforms in cloud environments

Lead cloud governance, monitoring, optimization, and security initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

At least 7 years of experience in Cloud Architecture or Cloud Engineering

Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, with multi-cloud experience considered an advantage

Experience with Kubernetes, Containers, Serverless technologies, and Microservices

Strong knowledge of IAM, Cloud Security, Encryption, Zero Trust, and Identity & Access Management

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or Bicep) and DevSecOps methodologies

Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, SOC, or PCI
