Backend Developer | Gush Dan

Mertens - MalamTeam is looking for a Backend Developer to join a leading organization in the Gush Dan area. This is an exciting opportunity to develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions while collaborating with cross-functional R&D and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop software in accordance with established standards, architecture, and business requirements

Build innovative, scalable, and secure backend solutions

Collaborate with Product Managers to define and deliver capabilities aligned with the product roadmap

Contribute to and lead architectural and technology decisions

Work closely with R&D and support teams throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree – advantage)

At least 4 years of experience in Java backend development, including hands-on experience with Cloud services, preferably AWS

Proven experience developing and delivering large-scale, complex software systems from design through production

Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, Swagger, Maven, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Git, RESTful services, and Docker

High level of English proficiency, including speaking, reading, and writing
