We are looking for a C++ Embedded Software Developer to join the Air Defense Systems Division within the Missile & Space Systems Group at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
The position includes:
• Working as part of a software development team responsible for the core software component of an advanced embedded defense system
• Developing and maintaining C++ software for airborne embedded systems
• Participating in software requirements definition, architecture, and detailed software design
• Working closely with Systems Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Developing high-performance, reliable software for mission-critical real-time applications
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver advanced operational capabilities
What we’re looking for:
• B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering – Mandatory
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience in C++ software development – Mandatory
• At least 3 years of experience with C# development – Advantage
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) – Mandatory
• Deep understanding of Design Patterns – Mandatory
• Experience developing multi-threaded applications – Mandatory
• Experience developing airborne systems – Advantage
• Experience developing Microservices-based applications – Advantage
