Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role: We are looking for a powerhouse Senior DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of our production environments and cloud infrastructure. You will be a core player in driving our SaaS production operations, collaborating closely with engineering, and embedding advanced AI and FinOps capabilities into our DNA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production & Infrastructure Ownership: Own, scale, and manage our cloud-native SaaS production deployments running on AWS. Take charge of system health, complex scaling challenges, incident management, and monitoring.
• Architecture & Ambiguity Management: Lead architecture design from scratch. Take raw, high-level concepts and translate them into mature, production-grade infrastructure blueprints without losing momentum.
• CI/CD & SDLC Excellence: Maintain, optimize, and secure a healthy software development life cycle. Design and build robust CI/CD pipelines for complex applications.
• AI-Driven Engineering Enablement: Drive the adoption of agentic SDLC capabilities across the development organization, evaluating and integrating AI-powered engineering tools and workflows to improve developer productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and release velocity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a main interface and trusted partner for the engineering teams, translating product and development needs into stable infrastructure solutions.
• Security & Compliance: Handle the security and SOC aspects of product deployments, ensuring compliance, identity management, and secure architecture.
• FinOps & Resource Optimization: Drive cloud cost optimization (FinOps), analyzing utilization and implementing cost-effective scaling strategies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of pure, hands-on DevOps experience exclusively within the AWS ecosystem. Deep, native knowledge of AWS services: Storage, Security, Log analysis/investigation, Lambda/serverless, deployments, and Databases.
• Architectural Independence: Proven ability to work with extreme autonomy, take full ownership of projects, and self-manage from day one.
• Modern DevOps Stack: Expert-level experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, serverless, GitHub, and Docker.
• Startup DNA: Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic startup environments with shifting business needs. Proven track record as a main player in deploying business-critical applications.
• AI & Agentic Engineering: Experience implementing AI-powered engineering workflows and agentic SDLC capabilities (e.g., AI-assisted coding, testing, code review, documentation, and deployment automation). Familiarity with AWS Bedrock and modern AI developer platforms is a strong advantage.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to interface effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
