About the Role :

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for an experienced analytics professional with deep expertise in credit products and FinTech. Positioned at the intersection of data, product, engineering, and business strategy, this role is responsible for monitoring portfolio health, driving financial experimentation, building predictive forecasts, and translating complex data into executive-level narratives.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Governance & Executive Dashboarding: Continuously monitor portfolio health and payment behavior using advanced SQL to analyze complex data structures. Build and maintain executive-facing dashboards in modern BI tools to communicate KPIs and strategic trends to senior decision-makers.

Data-to-Strategy & Executive Storytelling: Isolate the root cause of complex portfolio movements and translate intricate data anomalies into clear, persuasive, and actionable business narratives for C-suite leadership.

Financial A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design, execute, and analyze controlled experiments on the checkout/payments platform to evaluate underwriting models, risk strategies, and new financial features—balancing growth with risk exposure.

Predictive Modeling & Financial Forecasting: Develop forward-looking analytical models to project short- and long-term portfolio behavior, risk shifts, and profitability inflection points.

Data Asset Architecture & Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Data Engineers and Product Managers to define complex business logic, architect new data assets, and build end-to-end data pipelines and models to support analytical domains

What we are looking for :

• 5+ years as a Senior Data Analyst
• B.Sc in quantitative discipline (preferably in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another related field with a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis).
• Strong ownership and independence skills. Comfortable taking ownership over the full life cycle of features monitored.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Effective communication skills to explain complex topics in English.
• Domain Expertise: Proven track record in a FinTech or financial institution with deep expertise in credit products and risk analytics.

Skills Must Have

• Advanced SQL- Expert-level proficiency in writing complex queries, window functions, cohort analyses, and debugging data anomalies.
• BI & Dashboarding Tools Hands-on experience designing and delivering executive-ready dashboards in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Master Storyteller: Ability to bridge the gap between technical data and C-level business strategy.
• Autonomous & Agile: Highly self-directed, precise, and comfortable navigating fast-changing business priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have :

• Python Experience using Python for data manipulation, statistical modeling, or automated analytics workflows.
• DBT Exposure to DBT (data build tool) for building, testing, and documenting modular data models.
