We are seeking a Backend Developer to support the development of operational capabilities

and provide advanced defensive solutions for our projects. The role involves designing and

implementing scalable, high-performance server-side architectures that support complex

remote management capabilities and secure data orchestration in a challenging cyber

environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Execute work packages requiring expertise in understanding threats to endpoint

devices, particularly in IoT or cloud environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend systems.

• Manage and optimize server performance, security, and availability.

• Develop and integrate APIs for seamless communication with frontend and external

systems.

• Implement defensive thinking in project kickoffs and architecture designs to enhance

security standards.

• Work with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) to deploy and manage

backend services.

• Develop procedures and workflows to provide holistic solutions to identified risks.

• Ensure cybersecurity best practices, including API protection and access

management.


Required Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in Backend development.

• Proficiency in Python with at least 4 years of experience.

• Experience with event-driven design (RabbitMQ, Kafka).

• Familiarity with architecture principles: RESTful APIs, Microservices, Design Patterns.

• Experience working with cloud environments: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

(mandatory).

• Experience with DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (an advantage).

• Understanding of cybersecurity: security principles, API protection, access

management.

• A passion for cybersecurity, a "security-first" approach to coding, and the ability to

solve complex problems under ambiguity.

• Deep understanding of IoT operating systems and vulnerabilities (an advantage).

• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, sockets, and network protocols (an advantage).

• Strong interpersonal skills, self-learning capabilities, and the ability to advance

processes.

• A degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering (an advantage).
