We are looking for an Algorithm Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development, analysis, and optimization of advanced radar technologies.
In this role, you will combine hands-on algorithm development with in-depth analysis of radar data and algorithm performance. You will work on existing radar systems, improve and optimize algorithms, investigate performance issues, and use data-driven analysis to identify gaps and enhance system behavior.
##This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in our Ashdod office and 2 days per week in our Tel Aviv office.
Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and optimize algorithms for advanced radar systems.
- Analyze data collected from radar systems and extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Evaluate algorithm performance and identify gaps, failures, edge cases, and areas for improvement.
- Investigate cases where algorithms do not perform as expected and identify root causes.
- Develop algorithmic improvements based on data analysis and system performance.
- Support validation, testing, and performance evaluation of radar algorithms.
- Work closely with R&D teams to optimize radar system performance and robustness.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in algorithm development, data analysis, or signal processing.
- Strong programming skills in Python (experience with MATLAB is an advantage).
- Experience analyzing complex datasets and translating insights into algorithmic improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to investigate algorithm performance, identify root causes, and optimize system behavior.
- Experience with radar systems, signal processing, or defense-related technologies – an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary R&D teams.
