Development Team Lead | Central Israel

Mertens Malam Team is hiring a Development Team Lead to join a leading financial organization in Central Israel

The role includes professionally leading and managing development teams in an Agile environment, taking full end-to-end ownership of a critical system, driving Code Review processes, collaborating with architects, implementing Best Practices, and maintaining, upgrading, and stabilizing complex Legacy systems

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage development teams in an Agile environment

Take full end-to-end responsibility for a critical enterprise system

Drive Code Review processes and maintain high development standards

Collaborate with architects and implement development Best Practices

Maintain, upgrade, and stabilize complex Legacy systems

Write Technical Design documents and lead development processes

Support the technological direction of core systems

Integrate AI capabilities into development processes

Work with C#, ASP.NET, WebForms, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server, IIS, Web Services, WCF, REST, SOAP, SSIS, SSRS, GIT, Bitbucket, JIRA, and CI/CD

Requirements

At least 7 years of experience developing with C#, ASP.NET, and WebForms, including current hands-on experience with WebForms

Significant experience working in large and complex organizations such as banks or insurance companies

Experience maintaining and leading critical Legacy systems

In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, including complex queries, Stored Procedures, and performance optimization

Strong experience with IIS and integrations using Web Services, WCF, SOAP, and REST

Experience professionally leading development teams, conducting Code Reviews, writing Technical Design documents, and managing development processes in an Agile environment

Experience working with GIT, Bitbucket, JIRA, and CI/CD
