Description

Annapurna Labs, a fabless semiconductor company, was established by semiconductor industry veterans and is developing leading-edge products manufactured on state-of-the-art technologies. We are looking for talented engineers to help us develop a semiconductor platform based on a revolutionary architecture.

Take part in the development of state-of-the-art products within a disruptive system architecture. You will have the opportunity to work on the technologies that power the world's largest cloud provider, in a dynamic, open, and fast-paced environment. AWS provides a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud, which powers hundreds of thousands of businesses in 190 countries around the world.

AWS Graviton is a family of innovative processors designed to deliver the best price performance for cloud workloads running in Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), the world's largest leading Cloud vendor.

The Graviton is our own internal home grown solution that re-shaped EC2 offering to AWS customers, and the preferable solution for cloud compute by customers.

We are looking for talented engineers to join our Chip Design team, working on the Graviton product line. Our chip design team is in charge of defining the product's features and working on their architecture and development. Our team members collaborate with multiple teams from different disciplines such as product definition, pre and post silicon validation, physical design, software and others contributing to a full cycle of chip development from idea to mass production. Your design will be integrated into the Graviton products, an important part of the AWS data centers worldwide. This is an opportunity to have a large-scale impact.

Join our innovative team at Annapurna Labs and play a pivotal role in developing next-generation semiconductor platforms that power the world's largest cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating transformative chip technologies that shape the future of cloud computing.

A day in the life

Your day will be filled with technical challenges and collaborative problem-solving. You'll dive into semiconductor architecture, working on design challenges that require both creative thinking and precise technical execution. Expect to engage with cross-functional teams, prototype innovative solutions, and contribute to chip development that impacts global cloud infrastructure.

About The Team

Annapurna Labs started in 2011 as a fabless chip start-up focused on bringing innovation to cloud infrastructure. Acquired by AWS in 2015, we have since developed AWS Nitro technology, AWS Graviton processors, AWS Inferentia & Trainium, and more. Our chip design team defines product features and drives their architecture and development through the full cycle — from concept to mass production.

We combine the agility of a startup with the resources of AWS. Our team collaborates across disciplines — product definition, pre and post-silicon validation, physical design, and software — in a dynamic, open, and fast-paced environment.
