Mertens - MalamTeam is looking for an experienced Android Tech Lead to join a leading financial organization.

Join the Digital Platforms division, responsible for the bank’s direct digital channels, including mobile applications and web platforms. This role combines hands-on Native Android development with technical leadership, team management, and architectural ownership of innovative digital products.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Android development teams and drive end-to-end development processes

Design and develop Native Android applications using Kotlin and Java

Provide technical and architectural leadership across cross-functional teams

Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality mobile solutions

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative digital products

Contribute to CI/CD processes and development best practices

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience developing Native Android applications using Kotlin and Java

Strong hands-on experience with Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, and Data Binding

Experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party library integration

Deep understanding of modern architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or MVP

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Previous leadership or team management experience with the ability to lead development teams and drive technical excellence
