We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to own the architecture of our macOS SASE agent within the Agent group. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor leadership role.

You will be the technical authority for the macOS agent: setting its architectural direction, going deep into the hardest problems, challenging decisions, and mentoring engineers technically. Above all, you'll set the bar for excellence and sign your work with pride, targeting high quality and high productivity, and focusing on the outcome, while building cutting-edge SASE software that impacts millions of users and thousands of organizations.

Major Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and technical direction of the macOS agent end to end.
• Lead design reviews and challenge technical decisions constructively.
• Solve complex macOS, networking, performance, and production issues.
• Drive technical quality through clear design, strong execution, code reviews, and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers and grow the team’s macOS, systems, and networking expertise.
• Evaluate technologies, tools, and best practices that improve reliability and productivity.
• Work closely with product, backend, QA, support, and other agent teams to deliver production-grade SASE capabilities.
• Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across macOS technical development.

Desired Background

• 8+ years of software development experience, with a track record as a technical leader/Architect
• Deep expertise in modern macOS development — Swift and Objective-C.
• Strong hands-on experience with macOS System / Network Extensions.
• Experience with shared-module development and integration in C/C++.
• Solid networking background: IP & TCP/UDP stack, routing tables, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, and VPN packet encapsulation & routing.
• Proven experience architecting distributed, scalable services, with a strong grasp of multithreading/async, sockets programming, and design patterns.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and drive innovation.
• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent knowledge.
