The Program

Following a successful launch last year, we are once again offering internships at Gentex. Our internship program offers promising Ph.D. students the chance to work on cutting-edge projects in deep learning and computer vision. The program aims to foster innovation and collaboration between leading researchers and our advanced technology team. This program offers a 3-month full-time (hybrid work) position in our Tel Aviv office.

The Position

We are looking for a talented PhD intern to join our Advanced Research and Developing Algorithms (ARAD) group. In this position you will:

Design algorithms based on deep and machine learning as well as classical computer vision.

Develop novel proof-of-concepts

Work on unique state-of-the-art proprietary optical technology.

Become a part of a global R&D operationand a dynamic local team.

What are we looking for?

Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. in electricalengineering, computer science or arelevant scientific degree – must

Background in Computer Vision, MachineLearning and Deep Learning.

Solid knowledge in Python.

Strong mathematical skills and analyticalthinking.

A problem solver and a good communicator

Publication(s) at peer reviewedconferences or journals – advantage

Background in optics\signal processing\3Dmodeling – advantage
