What you'll do:
- Develop and implement multi-sensor data fusion algorithms (Track-level / Sensor-level Fusion)
- Process and synchronize sensor data, including noise filtering
- Design and improve advanced filtering techniques (Kalman Filters and variants)
- Build and evaluate statistical sensor models across coordinate systems (WGS-84, UTM, ECEF)
- Develop bias estimation algorithms for active and passive sensors (e.g., Radar, SIGINT)
- Integrate algorithms into Real-Time / Near Real-Time systems
- Participate in field and lab experiments, performance analysis, and reporting
What we're looking for:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in algorithm development (Data Fusion / Target Tracking)
- Strong knowledge of Kalman / Particle Filters and Data Association
- Hands-on experience with C++, Java or C#, as well as Python (MATLAB – an advantage)
- Ability to work in complex, multi-layered systems
- Strong analytical thinking and self-learning skills
- High level of English (technical reading and writing)
- Availability for additional hours (approx. 25–30 hours/month)
Nice to have:
- Experience with Radar / EO / IR sensors
- Familiarity with ADS-B / AIS / IFF systems
- GPU / CUDA experience
- Experience working with noisy data (Low SNR environments)
