Automation QA Developer | Central Israel

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring an Automation QA Developer for a government office in Central Israel.

Join a government technology environment and take part in planning, developing, running, and improving automated testing processes to ensure broad test coverage, system stability, and product quality over time.

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute automation tests, including tests based on manually written test scenarios, for repeated testing cycles and improved coverage across system versions.

Develop automated scripts to identify recurring bugs and improve the efficiency of the testing process.

Ensure the quality of automation tests and perform Code Reviews for team members.

Prepare periodic reports on incidents and recommendations for improvement.

Identify processes suitable for automation based on manual test scenarios.

Write automation test code in C#, Selenium, and Playwright.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Run automated tests on an ongoing basis or upon request.

Analyze test results, identify failures, and report bugs.

Update automated scripts according to changes in the system or requirements.

Work closely with developers, testers, and product management teams to ensure full test coverage.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of proven experience in planning, developing, and running automation tests.

Programming experience in languages such as C# or Java.

Familiarity with testing methodologies.

Experience in planning and executing automated tests.
