We are looking for a talented, tech-driven Leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to head one of our backend teams. In this role, you will remain deeply hands-on, driving technological agendas, architectural decisions, and system-wide optimizations.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead & Mentor: Foster a self-driven team culture, mentor experienced developers, and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay Deeply Hands-On: Work closely with the code, designing and building low-latency, high-concurrency server-side components.
• Own the Architecture: Drive architectural decisions and resolve complex challenges (performance, scalability, infrastructure costs).
• Champion AI Adoption: Implement AI-driven development methodologies to elevate the team’s productivity.

• 5+ years of hands-on server-side programming experience.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Software Team Lead or Tech Lead.
• Deep experience with production-critical, high-traffic environments (Low SLA / High Availability).
• Strong hands-on orientation with a passion for backend infrastructure and performance optimization.
• Calm, confident leadership style with excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• BSc in CS/EE/Math, military experience in an elite tech unit, or equivalent practical experience.
• Full proficiency in Hebrew and English.

Advantages (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Python or Rust (and a strong desire to develop in Rust).
• Experience with AKS (Azure), Microservices, Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, Postgres, and CI/CD.
• Track record of adopting AI tools/methodologies within engineering teams.
