Insait is building the production-grade AI backbone for top-tier financial institutions. We don't just wrap LLMs. Our platform autonomously handles critical banking workflows - from onboarding to cross-selling - replacing operational friction with seamless, predictive experiences.
We are a lean, engineering-driven company working directly with some of the industry's biggest players. Our product runs in demanding environments where reliability, security, and deployment quality are not optional.
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who wants to do more than maintain pipelines.
In this role, you will work across the infrastructure lifecycle of a mission-critical AI product, helping bridge our R&D team with the complex IT environments of enterprise financial institutions.
A significant part of the work is getting our product running inside on-premises, private cloud, and air-gapped environments - locked-down, internet-restricted networks where major banks operate. This means thinking beyond standard cloud-native assumptions and solving real-world deployment, networking, security, and operational challenges.
If you are a builder who enjoys hard engineering problems - Kubernetes, security, networking, hybrid cloud, automation, and production reliability - this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Deploy Where It's Hard- Get our product running reliably in on-premises, private cloud, and air-gapped environments, where there is no public internet, security is tight, and standard cloud assumptions do not always apply.
Infrastructure as Product- Build and maintain modular Terraform, Helm charts, deployment packages, and infrastructure automation that support multi-region Kubernetes clusters across diverse environments, including disconnected ones.
Work Across Environments- Help standardize deployments so the same product can run cleanly across AWS, Azure, and customer-managed infrastructure.
Client-Facing Engineering- Take part in architecture workshops with client DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams. Help design how Insait runs securely inside private networks, DMZs, VPCs/VNETs, and restricted enterprise environments.
Platform Engineering- Treat internal tooling as a first-class product. Use Python to automate complex workflows, improve developer experience, and build self-service mechanisms for R&D.
Production Ownership- Help improve observability, reliability, deployment safety, incident response, and operational readiness of our platform.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Solid experience with Helm, Terraform, and GitOps-style deployment workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure.
- Good Python skills for automation, internal tooling, and infrastructure workflows - not just basic scripts.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, TLS, load balancers, ingress, VPC/VNET, private networking, firewalls, and network security constraints.
- Experience troubleshooting real production issues across infrastructure, applications, and networking layers.
- Ability to work independently, own problems end-to-end, and push things to completion.
- Fluent Hebrew and strong English.
- Comfortable participating in technical discussions with customers, including enterprise IT/security teams.
Strong Advantage
- Experience with on-premises, private cloud, regulated environments, or air-gapped deployments.
- Experience packaging software for disconnected environments.
- Experience with EKS, AKS, ArgoCD, External Secrets, cert-manager, ingress controllers, observability stacks, and container registries.
- Experience with security-sensitive environments, financial institutions, or enterprise software deployments.
- Experience building internal developer platforms or deployment automation.
