We’re hiring a Founding Engineer. This is a high-impact, architect-level role where you will be the first engineering hire and design and build the core technical foundation of a new platform from the ground up. Expect a fast-moving environment, high ownership, and a lot of autonomy across architecture, infrastructure, integrations, and backend systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your Impact

• Architect and implement core systems: cloud infrastructure, backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
• Build secure, scalable, and reliable components ready for real-world operational environments
• Lead integrations with external systems and support early data onboarding
• Establish engineering standards, tooling, documentation, and technical processes from the start
• Set up observability, monitoring, and performance systems
• Jump in wherever needed, from quick scripts and data cleaning to debugging production issues

Requirements:

• 6 years of engineering experience with strong architecture / complex backend systems experience
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, distributed systems, and backend / full-stack development
• Strong foundation in system design, APIs, secure infrastructure, and data flows
• Proven ability to build products or platforms from 0 → 1
• Clear communication, strong judgment, and the ability to explain technical decisions
• Collaborative working style, high ownership, and the ability to execute independently in a fast-moving environment
