We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our development team at our customer’s site in Netanya. In this role, you will be a key partner in building, operating, and maintaining infrastructure in a complex microservices environment, while adhering to strict information security standards typical of a defense-grade, partially air-gapped production setting.
This is a full-time, on-site position, at our customer’s office in Netanya.
About the role
As part of our DevOps team, you will take end-to-end ownership of production infrastructure supporting mission-critical systems. You'll work with a modern technology stack, lead complex technical projects, and serve as a senior technical voice within a large, experienced engineering organization.
Tech Stack
Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, NestJS, Microservices, Linux, GitLab CI / GitHub Actions, Grafana / ELK / Splunk
What You'll Do
• Build, maintain, and improve Kubernetes infrastructure across production environments.
• Design, operate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for dozens of microservices.
• Partner closely with NestJS developers and backend teams to optimize service performance.
• Establish and maintain advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks (Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
• Secure deployment and operational processes per strict defense-environment standards, including air-gapped environments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to solve complex production challenges.
Requirements (Must-Have)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer in production environments.
• Linux Systems - proven experience working with Linux machines in production environments.
• Kubernetes - solid hands-on experience with container orchestration.
• Monitoring Tools - proficiency in at least one of the following: Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• CI/CD - experience with GitLab CI and/or GitHub Actions.
• Active Israeli civilian security clearance at level 2 or 3 - great advantage
Nice to Have
• OpenShift production experience.
• Deep experience with Splunk for log analysis.
• Experience with air-gapped or isolated environments.
• Familiarity with Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Node.js / NestJS development.
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform / Ansible).
