About The Team
Our vision is to deliver a personalized search and conversational shopping experiences for Amazon customers. We recognize that each customer is different, and strive to save customers valuable time by tailoring their search journey to their individual needs, interests, and preferences. Our goal involves identifying personalization opportunities to develop and optimize customer experiences, thereby improving the overall search and discovery process across Amazon.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Master's degree or equivalent
