Software Engagement Team Lead

About the Job

We are looking for a team lead who brings both managerial and technical skills to lead our customer engagement team. Your primary focus is your team and the people in it, and we expect you to build a great team with a high-performing culture and values.

The key responsibility for this role is to lead a strong, cross-functional Scrum team of 10+ engineers comprising Backend, Mobile, Frontend, QA, and Data Science. You will drive the domain focused entirely on improving customer Lifetime Value (LTV). This is a highly complex and impactful role where you will oversee the development of top-notch platform tools, manage our robust retention system, and pioneer cutting-edge AI capabilities for both in-house and external users.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead one of the department’s largest and most impactful teams, with a strong organizational focus on expanding AI capabilities and driving innovation across customer engagement platforms.

What you’ll do

• Continuously inspire and develop your team of highly skilled engineers and data scientists.
• Evangelize best engineering practices focusing on Agile/Scrum.
• Bridge the gap between product/business goals and technical delivery by leveraging your strong understanding of the business landscape.
• Play a key role in architectural and strategic decisions, specifically tailoring solutions for a large Cloud/SaaS B2C system.
• Collaborate with other development teams, product managers, UI/UX designers, and others to maintain high levels of visibility, efficiency, and collaboration.

Who you are

• You have a solid technical background, with at least 8 years of total industry experience, specializing in service-oriented backend development using C#.
• You have managed a team before (3 years min) and have experience in growing and mentoring engineers. Experience leading a large or cross-functional team is a major advantage.
• You know what it takes to build a team, you believe in agile & lean values, and you are a servant leader.
• You enjoy working and collaborating with other people. You have high interpersonal skills and effortlessly build strong, collaborative relationships across teams.
• You bring energy, positivity, and drive to your teams. You focus on solutions and trade-offs grounded in data and business expertise, and you bring a can-do approach.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

We offer a 3+2 hybrid work policy. Work is located at the Haifa R&D Center.
