If you’ve ever dreamt of being there when it all started, this one’s for you.
At
Zeroport, we don’t throw more software layers into the abyss of the remote access stack, we go straight to the core problem; IP connectivity.
We’re building a fundamentally different approach to secure remote access - combining purpose-built hardware, robust software and a shift in how trust is enforced.
Imagine remote connectivity with no exposed network, fully malware-repellant, and inherently data-leak proof.
It sounds bold, we know. That’s exactly the point.
Who We Are
Zeroport is tackling the hardest problem in secure network access - the legacy reliance on IP connectivity. We’ve designed and built a hardware-enforced solution that enables true non-IP remote access for the first time.
We’re a focused and technical R&D team with a strong builder mentality, moving fast to change the way companies connect to the world.
About The Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and take an active role in validating acomplex, security-critical remote desktop platform built on proprietary hardware and software.
This is a position with real ownership and meaningful impact. You will be testing across a unique stack where networking, infrastructure, and custom hardware all intersect, and where quality directly affects the security of critical systems. You will also be part of building our next-generation AI-assisted testing capabilities, including image recognition, automated log analysis, and intelligent test automation.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute test cases for software components, covering functional, integration, regression, and edge-case scenarios.
- Validate system behavior across diverse network topologies, infrastructure configurations, and hardware variants.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks to support scalable, repeatable QA coverage.
- Diagnose and document defects with clear reproduction steps, working closely with developers through the full bug lifecycle.
- Analyze network traffic, protocol behavior, and connectivity issues using diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with the QA Team Leader, R&D, and DevOps to align test coverage with product releases and infrastructure changes.
- Build and integrate AI-powered testing tools for image recognition, log analysis, and intelligent test automation.
Requirements:
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in software QA or a related technical testing role.
- Hands-on experience with test automation scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of networking: TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and routing.
- Experience testing complex, multi-component systems with varied infrastructure configurations.
- Proficiency with network diagnostic tools (Wireshark, netstat, traceroute, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments at an operational level.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in security-sensitive contexts.
Nice to Have
- Experience with remote desktop protocols (RDP, VNC) or hardware-software integrated systems.
- Background in OT/ICS, critical infrastructure, or regulated industries.
Why Join Us
- Be part of designing innovative solutions for some of the toughest challenges in network security
- Flexible work setup, minimal bureaucracy
- Real ownership and impact from day one
- A collaborative and innovative work culture
- Competitive salary and benefits
Let's build it together!
Even if you don’t meet every requirement - we’d still love to hear from curious, motivated people.
