What You'll Do

• Act as a hands-on technical founder and CAIO from day one (0→1), leading both architecture and real-world implementation.
• Execute real-world physical AI pilots with Tier-1 manufacturing partners, transforming robotic platforms into autonomous task-executing systems.
• Define and execute the end-to-end technical roadmap across VLA models, reinforcement learning, and sim-to-real deployment.
• Work directly with humanoid platforms, perception systems, ROS2 infrastructure, and teleoperation workflows to build and validate early-stage prototypes.
• Enter the idea-formation stage under i4Valley's EIR (Entrepreneur in Residence) program.
• The venture will be funded with an investment made by i4Valley.
• Work in close partnership with the incubator's leadership, with hands-on support, resources, and access to a strong industry network.

What We're Looking For

• Proven R&D Leadership: Hands-on experience as a CTO, VP R&D, or Lead Architect in a high-growth startup or deep-tech environment.
• DeepTech & Physical AI Literacy: A scientific degree in computer science (BSc or higher) and a deep understanding of complex ML systems (AI, robotics, computer vision). You speak technology fluently.
• AI/ML Mastery: Expertise in training, fine-tuning, and deploying advanced AI models. Familiarity with VLA models, simulation environments (e.g., NVIDIA Isaac), edge inference systems, and integrating foundation models with robotic control systems.
• System Engineering: Strong Python/C++ skills with experience in distributed systems. Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, WMS/MES architectures, and ISO standards is an advantage.
• Entrepreneurial Grit: The ability to thrive in uncertainty, rally people around an ambitious vision, and ship code onto robots operating in real-world factories.
