We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Team Lead to manage and mentor a multidisciplinary infrastructure team, including DevOps Engineers and Network/Production Engineers, responsible for large-scale global proxy and network infrastructure.

This role combines technical leadership with operational ownership and requires a strong background in networking, bare-metal infrastructure, Linux production environments, automation, and infrastructure reliability at scale.

The ideal candidate is highly technical, operationally driven, and capable of leading engineers while actively participating in architecture decisions, incident response, and infrastructure optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers and Network/Production Engineers.
• Own the reliability, scalability, and performance of a large-scale global proxy infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize distributed bare-metal Linux environments that handle high-volume, real-time traffic.
• Design and improve networking architecture, routing flows, and proxy technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex production and networking issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, routing, and latency.
• Improve infrastructure automation, monitoring, and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams on infrastructure scalability and performance.
• Drive production stability, incident response, and infrastructure optimization.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Production Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Network Infrastructure roles.
• 2+ years of experience managing or leading technical infrastructure teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Linux systems administration and performance troubleshooting
• Bare-metal infrastructure environments
• TCP/IP networking fundamentals
• HTTP/HTTPS protocols
• DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancers, and proxy technologies
• Experience working with large-scale distributed production and networking environments.
• Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
• Solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production and networking issues under pressure.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Background in proxy infrastructure or high-traffic networking environments is a major advantage.
• Customer-facing or technical support experience is an advantage.
