Summary
We are searching for a senior Board Design Engineer who seeks to design challenging and complex boards, combining high-speed digital design, power, and analog.

In your role as Apple Board Design Engineer, you will work as part of Apple’s storage team, in collaboration with experts from many disciplines.

Description
In this role, you will design complex boards from the requirements stage to bring up, support, and production.

Your tasks will include: requirements collection, design specifications, circuit design, component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulations, accompany layout with PCB designer, documentation, acceptance test specification, bring-up, debugging in the lab, and user support.

A significant part of the job will require proactive interaction with peers in Israel and in California.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven hands-on experience with high-speed, power, and embedded system board design
• Experience in making schematics and mixed signals PCB layout
• Hands-on experience with standard lab equipment, including scopes, logic, and protocol analyzers
• Team player while capable of making independent decisions in one’s own field of expertise
• Proactive, adapt to fast-paced changes while not compromising on high-quality deliveries
• B.Sc. in EE from a known University
