We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join Eleos Health and take the wheel on a new product vertical at an exciting inflection point. The product has found its market fit and is ready to scale — and you'll be the one leading the engineering charge to get it there.

This is a rare chance to step into a role with true technical ownership — defining the architecture going forward, shaping how the team works, and leaving a real mark on something that matters. The hard work of validation is done; now it's time to build.

You will serve as both the technical lead and scrum master of a small, focused remote team, working at the intersection of hands-on engineering and team leadership.

You are a seasoned Android engineer who has grown into a leadership role — or is ready to. You don't just write great code; you help others do the same. You're comfortable owning a technical vision end-to-end, running agile ceremonies, and being the person your team looks to when things get hard.

You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where you get to shape the product as much as build it. You care about what you're building and who it's built for.

How will you contribute?

• Lead Android development for a new product vertical at Eleos, owning the technical vision from architecture to delivery.
• Act as tech lead and scrum master for a remote team of 3–4 engineers in a remote team
• Make key architectural decisions and set engineering standards for the team.
• Write and review production-quality Android code — this is a hands-on role.
• Run agile ceremonies: sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate business goals into technical execution.
• Build a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.

What qualifications and skills will help you be successful?

• 6+ years of Android development experience.
• Proven experience in a tech lead or senior engineering role, with ownership over architecture and technical decisions.
• Strong communication skills — you can align stakeholders, unblock your team, and advocate for the right technical choices.
• A builder's mindset: excited about greenfield work and creating structure where there isn't any.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a strong plus.
• Experience managing or leading small agile teams, ideally in a scrum master or similar capacity — an advantage.
• Knowledge in React — an advantage.
