Mertens Malam Team is hiring an AI Engineer (Forward Deployed Engineer) for a leading company in Petah Tikva.

This role is focused on driving the successful adoption of AI solutions across business units, translating business needs into practical AI solutions, and integrating them into real operational processes to create measurable business value.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and adoption of AI solutions within business units

• Translate business challenges into practical AI-driven solutions

• Work closely with business teams to identify high-value opportunities

• Design, implement, and optimize customized AI solutions

• Continuously improve AI products and processes based on business impact and usage

• Collaborate with organizational systems and existing data sources

• Drive measurable business outcomes through AI technologies and automation

Requirements:

• 2–3+ years of experience in Software Development, Data, Analytics, or Applied AI roles

• Proven experience implementing AI or Data-driven solutions in production environments

• Strong programming skills and backend development experience (Python, APIs, data processes)

• Experience working with AI technologies such as LLMs, automation, AI agents, or advanced analytics

• Ability to work with enterprise systems and existing organizational data sources

• Full professional proficiency in English — written and spoken
