Principal Network Performance Engineer
Role Summary
Lead technical investigations and AI‑driven analysis to improve wireless and IP network performance. This is a hands‑on, individual contributor role focused on diagnosing complex issues, correlating simulation and field results, and producing actionable engineering insights
Key Responsibilities
Drive end‑to‑end network performance analyses and identify root causes of bottlenecks
Apply AI/ML methods to accelerate detection of patterns, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
Correlate simulation outcomes with real‑world network behavior to enhance accuracy and predictability
Analyze and optimize Network protocol stacks for latency, throughput, and scalability
Collaborate with System, Software, Network, QA, and Data Science teams to embed insights into design improvements
Deliver concise reports summarizing findings, trends, and recommendations
Qualifications
Proven experience in wireless and IP network performance or systems engineering
Hands‑on knowledge of AI/ML analytics applied to communication data
Strong programming skills in C++ and Python; Linux proficiency
Excellent analytical and communication capabilities
B.Sc. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field; M.Sc. preferred.
