We’re growing-and we’re looking for a Senior Algorithm Researcher to join as a Technical Focal Point to an elite team focusing on trajectory and motion intelligence at CombatAI - a joint IDF–Elbit Systems organization serving as the Land Forces data and intelligence factory. What You'll Do:

🔹 Applied Research: Drive the end-to-end research lifecycle-from deep EDA on noisy, real-world field data to a robust, modular implementation in Python.

🔹 Algorithm & Solution Architecture: Design and architect hybrid solutions that blend classical geometric logic with advanced AI models to create efficient and robust solutions for trajectory and motion analysis.

🔹 Technical POC & Mentorship: Serve as a professional authority within the team, guiding POCs and setting the standards for algorithmic excellence and best practices.

🔹 Strategic Contribution: Influence the technical roadmap and the future of our detection and classification capabilities through innovative thinking and problem-solving.


What We're Looking For:

✔️ Advanced Expertise: Significant (5+ years) hands-on experience in algorithm development (Classical + ML/DL). You are a problem solver who can look at a complex dataset and architect an efficient and robust solution.

✔️ Trajectory Insight: Practical experience with trajectory analysis, tracking, or kinematic data—ideally from Radar, Autonomous systems, or spatio-temporal domains.

✔️ Academic Foundation: B.Sc. in Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. M.Sc./Ph.D. an advantage.

✔️ Strong Python Skills: A good coder who can translate research into clean and maintainable code (Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch). Experience with deployment or production-ready code is a significant advantage.

✔️ Collaborative Mindset: A senior professional who enjoys sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and contributing to technical decision-making.

✔️ Classified Background: Previous experience working in classified environments or possessing a valid security clearance are a significant advantage.
